Product History

ON-AIR Pro was first introduced to the industry in 1997.  It is a team effort where backgrounds in broadcasting, graphic design, software development, and information technology come together to provide an enjoyable experience in the workgroup environment.

The first two versions of ON-AIR Pro were customized and do not look much like the existing product.  Existing modules at the time were Promos, Tape Library, Contacts, and Labels.  Tape labels used to be one of the main modules until it became a plug-in linked to the Tape Library in version 3.0. At the time, we developed a means to track and report music cue.

In version 2.0 we introduced a new module, Scheduling, plus the ON-Script and the ON-Cue plug-ins.  Scripts were not linked with the Promos module in the previous versions, and music cue tracking had not become a full-fledged plug-in yet.  In version 2.1, we added an Acquisitions plug-in which is now incorporated in the standard version of the product.  Version 2.5 had an additional Work Order function, with tag groups and individual tags, and the ability to track dubs, which later became the ON-Dubs plug-in.

Later in version, 3.0 we replaced Labels with the Graphics module as part of the standard version of the program, and introduced the ON-Dubs, the ON-Slate, and the ON-Spot plug-ins.  Version 3.0 contains various additional upgrade features and is by far the most robust and expanded version of the product.

The majority of our clients upgraded from earlier versions to 3.0, which was introduced at Promax 2000.  The less recent version, 2.5 is still implemented at a couple of facilities and being supported as well.

Now in version 4.0, we have embedded several new features and a brand new plug-in

ON-AIR Pro is a well-worth investment.  It is an excellent solution for enterprises hoping to streamline and organize their promo production and reduce operations cost in the process.
