BET Kicks Off With ON-AIR Pro™ System on Network's 30th Anniversary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 16, 2010 - BET (Black Entertainment Television), which celebrated its third decade in broadcast this January,  has licensed Thought Development's ON-AIR Pro™ system to streamline the network's production tracking and program scheduling. The system, already in place at many prominent television networks and cable entities nationwide, is set to integrate with BET's existing scheduling tools and automate the production and promotion of their popular original and syndicated programming.

Black Entertainment Television, founded in 1980, is a successful Washington D.C.-based cable network targeting young African-American audiences. BET is a Viacom subsidiary along with longtime ON-AIR Pro™ champion Comedy Central, who has been using the system for nearly ten years.

In addition to the new work ordering and scheduling features the network is gaining, BET will integrate their Broadview program scheduling system with ON-AIR Pro's to create a centralized planning hub, which will be simultaneously accessible to teams in both New York and Washington, D.C.
