MGM HD Channel Enlists ON-AIR Pro™ to Power Programming

Workflow and program scheduling system to streamline motion picture cable channel

LOS ANGELES, CA – July 1st, 2009 - Cable channel MGM HD has licensed Thought Development's ON-AIR Pro™ system to automate the workflow for the network’s promotion and scheduling. The system, already in place at many of television's largest networks, has strengthened MGM HD's EFFICIENCY, bringing improvements to program scheduling, on-air promotion workflow tracking, and other core processes.

MGM’s selection of ON-AIR Pro™ came after review of a number of other potential solutions, Instrumental in the network’s decision were ON-AIR Pro's robust program scheduling features – which include in-depth title management, central grid-based scheduling, as well as air history and ratings tracking – MGM HD can now plan its programming with reinforced reliability and flexibility.

ON-AIR Pro™ also brings improvements to MGM HD's promo production tracking, internal communication, and media library processes. The system has been customized with additional schedule reporting features, and is soon expected to integrate with the existing traffic system.

Both MGM HD and Thought Development anticipate successful and longstanding results from the implementation.
