New workflow system for on-air promotion released to networks and cable channels everywhere.

Studio City, February 23, 2003—Thought Development Corporation announced this week the release of ON-AIR Pro™ 4.0, an update to its flagship product. With its release, the on-air promotion industry nationwide receives a long-awaited update to the organizational and best practices of streamlined promo production.

Thought Development Corporation has built business workflow solutions specifically designed for the on-air creative and promotion industry for more than eight years. ON-AIR Pro, a highly specialized product designed from the ground up, leads the market as a workflow and department process management system. The ON-AIR Pro products have pioneered ways of realizing savings in an industry that is dependent upon fulfilling short deadlines with quick turnaround. ON-AIR Pro is a FileMaker Pro-based solution that integrates all phases of promo production into one network-wide system, from inception to on-air and back. One container for the complete promo production operation. Currently implemented at various broadcast and cable entities, benefits such as substantial productivity gains, decreased administration, increased creativity and reduced costs can be obtained in an even greater way with version 4.0.

Availability

ON-AIR Pro™ is available directly from Thought Development. It is a cross-platform, turnkey solution that is installed on standard IT server technology. It comes bundled with FileMaker Pro Sever, a multiple-seat FileMaker Pro 5 user license, remote access software, laser and CCD barcode readers. A video-server comes bundled with licensing of the ON-SPOT™ plug-in for streaming video over the network.
